Nice sound but one earbud stopped working after a couple of months. The retailer website says Sony should deal with it but having worked through the Sony support website for some reason it concludes that I should contact the retailer. I am stuck in the middle. Disappointing really.

Sony will not honor warranty due to item being gift and they either want me to pay to fix these terrible headphones or buy another terrible Sony product would not recommend. Product was great if you never use it but when I used daily left ear piece went out and now neither headphone will connect via bluetooth which is kind of their whole purpose

Product falls out of the ear Product and speaking: like you put fingers in your ear Product and speaking: it hangs up de calls automatically. Can’t use this feature Empty or not? Doesn’t work. Need to be charged. Works after ten minutes and is fully charged. Awful product so much regret if buying it. Will not buy more Sony. We are really sorry to hear that the WF-C500 Wireless headphones was not the best experience as you expected. As Sony we always strive to deliver the best quality to satisfice our customers needs. Regarding the product falling out of the ear we have some recommendations that can help avoid that to happen, you can try the following:
- Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
- Check that you are wearing the headset properly in your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.

I bought these about 2 years ago. The quality is nice, they are not noise-cancel headphones, which is great for activities like cycling, being aware of your surroundings etc. Sony is a good brand, flexible with android and ios devices. However, their microphone is not great. I have to speak quite loud so people can hear me and sometimes they cannot hear me well at all, which leads me to remove them, defeating the whole purpose. Overall they are nice, but I would not buy again this specific product.

On my second pair of these after the first ones died a natural death after 3 years and surviving a fall from a tree. Had an issue with my second pair which have since been replaced by Sony while still in warranty - very happy about that! HOWEVER, trying to get through to customer services to secure a repair job took years off my life, between battling AI chat bots and never ending phone holds. Overall, the product is fantastic and I’ll probably buy again when these ones eventually break. The fact they were replaced within a reasonable time frame was commendable. But god help me if I need to speak to customer services ever again…

Ces petits écouteurs ont un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Le son est excellent avec de bonnes basses. Ils sont très légers et tiennent bien en place, de plus, les boutons physiques sur les écouteurs sont très intuitifs. Il n'y a pas de réduction de bruit active mais honnêtement vu que ce sont des intras, il y a malgré tout une bonne réduction passive. Ca fait plus de 2 ans que je les ai et ils fonctionnent encore nickel. Honnêtement je recommande ce produit.

Stopped working just out of the years warranty

I bought these in October last year before I went on holiday. To get them to connect to your device you have to download a Sony app. After going through the faff of connecting them to my phone, initially I didn’t have any issues when just listening to music. When I tried to use them to make/ answer a call, the quality of the microphone is not good at all!! When you’re using them for calls the sound quality is very poor as it picks up the background noise so it makes it hard for the other person to hear you speaking. About 11 months into owning them the right ear stopped connecting when you took it out of the box so you would have to manually turn it on. It has now stopped connecting completely and doesn’t work so I am stuck with only one earphone. This is just out of warranty period and they have told me there is nothing they can do to help. Would not purchase again!!

I bought this a few months ago and about a month ago the left ear bud wouldn't produce any sound unless it's pressed at a certain angle, I hwve re initialised it and done all other trouble shooting ans it still doesn't work, and you cannot find a sony representative to help anywhere. Before the earbud malfunctioned I was very happy with tye product

I bought this product mid July. The sound quality is fine, but I could not get them to stay in my ears. I don't have this issue with other earphones, I think this may be due to the shape/weighting of these earphones. For two weeks now, one of the earphones refuses to connect and the other one refuses to stay in my ear. I enjoy going to the gym, and it is not unusually for the earphone to slip out mid-set. The sound quality is not bad at all, but for the price I paid, I would expect more longevity.

Left ear button broke after 5 months. Don’t telling me it has to go back to shop where I purchased. I live 200 miles from the shop. So £30 on Sony wasted.
