We're sorry to hear that you're facing difficulties with HT-G700.

The subwoofer is designed for playback of bass or low frequency sound. If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can follow the steps at the bottom of page no 42: https://cutt.ly/SexMrweb

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying your Sony HT-G700 audio system. Yet, we're sorry to learn that the dialogue isn't clear and that it has stopped working randomly.
Letting you know that the content itself being watched has the most impact on how the dialogue is mixed with the other audio elements, you can always boost it by pressing the Voice button on your remote control.

We also recommend that you always use a certified ultra-high speed HDMI 2.1 cable for best performance.
If you ever experienced the same issue again, we recommend that you try a different cable, and check the following steps:
- Unplug the system from the mains while disconnecting everything from it for at least 2 minutes.
- Check if its firmware is up-to-date: https://cutt.ly/KwG0XLGn
- Reset the system: https://cutt.ly/hwG0CrtV (p. 45)

We're sorry to learn that you're getting no sound when connecting this sound bar to your TV via HDMI.

We recommend following our setup guide as it's showing here: https://cutt.ly/54MCMB7.
And make sure to change the audio output on your TV from TV speakers to external device.
If it's still the same, make sure that the sound bar is running the latest firmware update: https://cutt.ly/o4MVeyE.

Thank you for the review and we do apologize for the inconvenience. If you're using the soundbar to your TV via HDMI ARC connection. In the HDMI settings of the TV, set the Audio Return Channel (ARC) or TV Audio Input mode to On or Auto.
