Poor Sound In The Case - Great For Scuba

I primary got this for scuba diving use and so far for that it has worked well. Unlike other such cameras it actually has a manual white balance option which can be used and set underwater (however quite a few menu steps to get to the option). The basic camera is not water or splash proof in any way and when in the case you will find the sound is virtually inaudible (foam covers the microphones in the case front). This model has a tripod mount on the camera as well as the case but you need dry weather. With a 64Gb card (put in it the correct way around, you can put it in the wrong way) with basic 1080p mode you get 8hrs of recording space. In super high quality high bit rate 1080p this drops to under 3hrs

Picture quality is and battery life is good. shame that it's not waterproof. When it is in the w/p casing the sound recorded is inaudible.

I should have bought this Sony action camera from the beginning to take videos of my motorcycle rides. But wasting my time and money on four different makes, I am so glad to have bought the Sony. It has easy user interface, excellent vibration compensation and the best feature is the replaceable battery. Sony's own design of mounting bracket is absolutely brilliant to mount on my helmet and also easy to adjust.

I had this bought as a present and it is a very nice little camera. Unfortunately you need to buy a whole load of other stuff to make it work efficiently. There is no screen so you have to use your mobile phone through the wireless connection or you can buy the Sony wireless screen. there is no lens cap so you need to find one (Sony sell it|) there are many other great accessories but you have to buy them. In all it gets a bit pricey so do your calculations before opting for an action camera (others available)

Ich benutze die Kamera am Kamerahelm. Gute Bildqualität, aber Tonproblem. Der Wind macht es unmöglich, Ton aufzunehmen. Das Anschließen der Kamera an das Mobiltelefon über WLAN verursacht ein Problem, da die Datenversorgung des Navigationssystems unterbrochen wird.

Dafür das sie nur Full HD kann liefert die Camrea eine super Bildqualität. Der Szady Shot ist zwar nicht so gut wie bei der Konkurrenz Go Pro, dafür kostet sie auch viel weniger. Ich nutze sie für Motorrad Touren und für das reicht Full HD mir vollkommen.

Useless piece of junk. The software was apparently written by 3-year-olds. The laptop software crashed my mac and almost killed it. I had to expunge it from the entire hard drive to use my computer again. The iPhone app has a "read QR code" feature which doesn't recognize the QR code for this camera. Criminally poor and useless produce. Do not buy.

Hab die Cam AS50 seit einem Jahr. Alle Videos egal ob beim Skifahren, Motorradfahren oder beim Radfahren immer scharfe, farbenfrohe Bilder/Videos gemacht.Im Winter bei -20° oder auf Sardinien im Sommer +40° und auch beim Schnorcheln immer hat die Cam funktioniert und der Akku lange gehalten.

Bonjour. J'ai acheté cette caméra il y a 2 semaines et profité d'une grosse promotion. Je m'en sert comme d'une caméra à tout faire que ce soit pour le sport comme pour filmer la vie de tous les jours. Dans l'ensemble rien a dire de particulier je n'ai pas non plus une très grande expérience dans le domaine cependant je pourrais reprocher que le son n'est pas tres bon pour enrengistrer des voix c'est bien mais pas pour le reste peu mieux faire, le son manque un peu de grave. Concernant l'image je trouve que c'est un peu juste quand il n'y a pas assé de lumière. Dans l'ensemble je suis satisfait de mon achat.

I got this for the chance it might be better than the usual action cam that 98% of everyone has and you know which one I mean. This thing stunk, the memory card goes in both ways so if you put it in on accident wrong way and try to record it, you end up with nothing. The recorded videos get put into some weird file you need a map to find it. Do not buy this unless you want to get home to upload your cool videos only to find out they never recorded or they are in a hidden file. Stick with the original one that works way better. I am dumping this piece of junk and getting the OG.

I would say the main drawbacks are as follows *Design - Anterior-posterior design is not convenient (compared to other action cam brands) *No display! *Poor image stabilization *When using underwater due to heat, a fog develops on the inside of the front of the housing and covers up the lens and interferes with photos/video *difficult to find mounts (head strap/chest strap)

You may check out the HDR-AS50R. This model has a live-view remote. When shooting, try to turn on the SteadyShot feature of the camera to activate the camera-shake reduction. There is an anti-fog sheet (AKA-AF1) that you can purchase to address the fog issue. You can buy it and other accessories from Sony Authorized Dealers.

Die HDR-AS50 ist meine erste Actioncam. Ausschlaggebend waren für mich die Foto-Funktion sowie die Möglichkeit die Cam auch unter Wasser zu nutzen. Sie sehr klein und "windschnittig", die Bedienung über das Handy bzw das Handy als Display zu nutzen funktioniert super. Selbst bei Fahrradtouren ist das Bild recht ruhig. Kauf nicht bereut!

Hatte die Kamera mit in Ägypten und habe sie nur beim Tauchen und Schnorcheln verwendet. Bis ca. 20 Metre Tiefe ist die Farbtreue nicht zu bemängeln und entspricht der natürlichen Wahrnehmung. Danach ist wie bei jeder Kamera eine externe Lichtquelle zu empfehlen, um die Farben entsprechend wiedergeben zu können. Die Handhabung ist einfach, die Speicherziet super und die Akkulaufzeit reicht für einen kompletten Tauchgang, wenn man die Kamera durchlaufen lässt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Ich hatte vorher eine Intova und die Bilder mit der Sony sind deutlich besser durch den zuschaltbaren UW-Modus. An das Feheln eines Displays muss man sich aber erst gewöhnen. Das zu filmende Objekt landet dadurch schon mal am oberen oder unteren Bildrand. Mit ein bisschen Übung ist das aber auf lange Sicht kein Problem. Für Hobbytaucher/Fotografen bestens geeignet.

Für hohe Geschwindigkeiten mit dem Motorrad finde ich die Dashcam deutlich windschnittiger als die handelsüblichen Actioncams im Querformat. TFT-Displays sind bei Actioncams sowieso überflüssig. Dafür habe ich hier eine super Akkulaufzeit.

Vor einem Monat gekauft um den Urlaubsweg mit Motorrad nach Kroatien zu filmen. Bis heute habe ich es nicht geschafft Aufnahmen mit Ton zu machen trotz Softwareneuinstallation. Die Videos habe ich auf meinem Android Mobiltelefon, Tablet und Laptot abgespielt. Vergeblich, es ist kein Ton zu hören. Außerdem werden die Videos nicht sauber aufgenommen. Die Aufnahmen haben immer Aussetzer. Richtig nervig.

Good: The quality of the video is quite good. The HD feature (1080p 60fps) is super nice. I couldn't find myself a reason to buy the 4k capable AC so this one fits my need and budget. The stabilisation feature of this camera is great. I use it to record my mtb rides and the video result is smooth, no small shakes on the video. The interaction with the menu is super easy. I have no problems with the connectivity of this camera, no "could not connect" issues at all. And the accessories, all though sometimes hard to find, are cheap but reliable. Not Good: The audio of this AC is a bit disappointing, especially if you put it in its audioproof, i mean, waterproof case. To hook it to an accessory you need to have a coin with you.

Die technische Ausstattung finde ich für den Preis sehr gut. Die Bedienung über die App ist auch perfekt, wobei mir besonders gefällt, das die Aufnahme trotz ausschalten der App nicht unterbrochen wird. Was besonders bei Zeitraffer-Aufnahmen über sehr lange Zeit praktisch ist. Die externe Stromversorgung über USB ist auch ein großes Plus.

We wanted to try a different action type recorder and I got this on my birthday. We have used it several times since then and the video stabilization is great. The nine miles of dirt road down to Wire Pass was terrible bumpy with a lot of wash-boarding. But with the Sony cam stuck to the windshield you wouldn't know it until you noticed that the end of the hood is bouncing all over the place and rocking back and forth but the video is stable, I was impressed. The hood and the windshield move the same amount so you know the Sony was moving just as much but still steady video.. If I cut a short piece of video out I'll post it...

Habe mir die komplette Anleitung aus dem Internet herunter geladen. Die Funktion mit dem Smartphon ( Pairing ) hat sofort geklappt. Foto und Videoaufnahmen sehr gut. Unterwassergehäuse teste ich im Sommer. Einfache Bedienung gute Handhabung und sehr leicht.

Dank des Guten Bildstabilisators macht die Kamera total ruhige Videos. Den Stern-Abzug gab es, weil die Kamera bei einem leichten Regen kaputt ging. Ich finde, eine Actioncam sollte wenigsten einen leichten Regeneschauer auch ohne UW-Gehäuse aushalten.

Used it on my helmet, going fast ( over 90mph), no problem. The wateresistant cover keep water out. Better insulation for the batterry would do better job to prevent the screen from going foggy. But after a while it will go away. It works well with my Samsung S7. 4K goes well too. I do not need any better gor what what I am using it. If you get a glass filter for the lense it is ok to use it without tje cover. It withstands some rain as well as well as falling from the seat of my motorbike right on the tar. The wateresistant and impact resistant cover mutes the microphone. That is the only issue. But I have no idea how this works. All my friends have diving covers for their cameras and really, there is no need for a micrphone. It would be nice to have some sort of a accessory like a sleev, perhaps made of silicone to protect the camera more against impacts in case of fall but keep entrances for camera and microphone, buttons.

Je n'ai testé qu'en intérieur pour l'instant. Le résultat est correct mais pas exceptionnel, manque de piqué. Les réglages sont assez complexes à comprendre. L'objectif est assez saillant. L'appareil est vraiment petit et léger; Il manque d'accessoires adaptés, même en option : - pochette ou housse, - logiciel de montage (ceux proposés sont insuffisants, et on n'a pas forcément besoin de Vegas Pro non plus), - lanière ou dragonne, etc.

Sehr praktisch von den Maßen her, hochwertige Ton- und Filmqualität, ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, super 170-Grad-Spektrum ohne große Verzerrungen, lediglich das naturgemäß kleine Display und die Menunavigation ist mühselig und nicht selbsterklärend. Aber mit Handbuch geht alles.

Für mich im Vordergrund stand ein deutsches Handbuch, so lernt man alle Vorteile und die Handhabung am besten kennen. Des Weiteren das Informationsangebot im Internet und nicht zu vergessen, die Kamera last sich komplett über eine App (deutschsprachig) steuern. Parallel angebotene Bearbeitung Programme sind mir zu eigenständig und laden unaufgefordert Bilder/Videos von meinem PC, aber da gibt es eine Hilfe DEINSTALLIEREN.

Got it as a gift. Bought a mount for the handlebars on my bike. Makes great videos of my rides. Nicer picture than I anticipated, really nice color in daylight, image steady feature works well and very practical. Several apps available that work with it.

Habe die Kamera sehr günstig als Rückläufer erworben. Sie war jetzt eine Woche in den Schweizer Bergen im Einsatz. Sie ist sehr leicht und klein, die Bedienung ohne Anleitung direkt verständlich. Mit Schutzgehäuse ist der Ton nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, deshalb werde ich mir noch ein Objektivschutz holen.

Diese Kamera war meine erste Action Cam, weshalb ich leider keinen Vergleich zu günstigeren Modellen habe, aber ich bin sehr zufrieden. Bei der Bildqualität glaube ich einfach mal Stiftung Warentest, dass die GoPros nicht besser sind. Ich war sehgr begeistert unter Wasser, an Land gab es ab und zu Probleme mit dem Autofokus. Das kann wohl am Case liegen, welches ich immer drum hatte. Die Handhabung und Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind super und es macht wirklich Spaß damit zu filmen. Ich würde die Cam weiterempfehlen! PS: Was ich auch erst selbst herausfinden musste: Mit Case hat man auch keinen Ton! ^^

Die Kamera schaltet sich zur Schonung des Akkus automatich aus, wenn es im eingeschalteten Zustand eine bestimmte Zeit lang nicht bedient wird.
Sie können die Einstellung für diese Funktion; "Ausschaltautomatik" ändern, indem Sie die "MENU" Taste drücken, auf "Kameraeinstellung" gehen und anschließend die "Ausschaltautomatik" auf OFF stellen.
