Habe den TV seit zwei Wochen in Benutzung und bin von Bild, Technik und Verarbeitungsqualität begeistert! Ein kleiner Makel besteht hinsichtlich der Speicherung von Kanälen (DVB-C). Diese verschwinden zum Teil nämlich regelmäßig, so dass Kanäle und Speicherplätze permanent neu angelegt werden müssen. Wie in der Community zu lesen ist, bin ich da kein Einzelfall. Es wäre angebracht, wenn Sony hier zeitnah softwareseitig nachsteuern würde. Das Gerät kostet zuviel, um auch bei marginalen Fehlern ein Auge zudrücken zu können.

This is the first Sony product I have been disappointed by. It is let down by concerns over OLED panel longevity and extremely bad software. The issues are as follows. 1.) The brightness is factory set to 100% although the picture brightness is okay in a low lighting environment it would not be in a sunlit room. It worries me that as the OLED efficacy falls with age it will become unwatchable. I asked Customer Service if this pre-setting was normal. They did not answer my question but sent me links to regular Help sections which were not useful at all. 2.) The software is a mess. I initially opted to set up Google TV but the experience was so bad I had to reset to factory default 'set up basic TV.' Too much wrong with it to go into detail here. The basic TV operating software is appalling. One example is the subtitle setting. The assigned remote control button turns on the subtitles on but does not turn it off. There is no obvious way to do that and instructions to help cannot be found (by me at least.) Curiously when trying to do this a message appears at the top of the screen saying subtitles are not available for this service when they are in fact appearing at the bottom of the screen ! By chance a confusing combination brought an on screen selection panel up in an unexpected location which allowed me to turn them off. I've no idea how to repeat that so may avoid subtitles again. I served as a TV electronics design engineer during my career so have a little experience including a close association with Sony engineers with whom I have always had great respect for.

This television has solved two problems we were having in viewing dramas and films. We can now see what is happening in shots taken in low light and we can hear what actors are saying even when there is loud intrusive "background" music. Both of these features were promised by the OLED screen and the sound zoom facilities. Both delivered.

Purchased this after my 13 year old Samsung TV suddenly stopped working. I paid a bit more than I needed to, and from local rather than national store, as a change from Samsung and because the picture looked fantastic, and quality of the TV features. Fully set up now and I am really pleased with. Hope this one lasts 13 years (or longer)!

Bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden, das Bild, mit vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten, ist sehr gut. Tolle Farben tolles Schwarz. Von Sony Core gibt's 10 Kredits für 4k Filme, Leider manchmal in Englisch. Der Ton, der vom Display kommt, könnte für Europäische Ohren besser sein. Die Fernbedienung mit Sprachwahl ist manchmal nervig, aber egal.

On my second visit to look at a 32” Sony I went mad & left John Lewis after purchasing a Sony Oled 42” tv - and as expected with Sony it was worth the extra money. A fantastic picture, easy set up & now having the time of my life with catch up. This is my third Sony tv in 30 years.

Dacă îl prinzi la un preț bun (sub ~4000–5000 lei echivalent second/refurb pentru 48”, sau chiar mai jos la 42”), merită enorm în 2026 – rămâne unul dintre cele mai apreciate OLED-uri compacte ever făcute de Sony. Imaginea și feeling-ul „Master Series” sunt cu adevărat premium.

I sought advise about buying a Sony Bravia 18 inch TV from John Lewis. The lady on the telephone said she could get their TV department to telephone me!! After a week of waiting I had noone contactvme. So I then went straight to Sony. Their response was superb!! They answered my questions about the TV and also offered me £100 off and free delivery. The TV arrived within two days. What excellent service. I am really grateful for their help and support. The TV is excellent!!!

Am cumpărat acest televizor acum o lună și sunt foarte mulțumit de imaginea și sunetul oferit de acesta, superior în comparație cu predecesorul său KD-43X85J, la care s-a ars placa de bază după 4 ani și jumătate, deși nu m-am așteptat să se întâmple așa ceva. Fiind un fan SONY, am zis să mai dau o șansă companiei, înainte de fuziunea cu TCL. În cazul în care se mai întâmplă vreo "minune" înainte ca aparatul să împlinească 10 ani, cu certitudine voi alege alt brand. Legat de softul încorporat, consider un mare minus faptul că TV-ul nu reține ultimul post vizionat, în consecință la fiecare repornire trebuie căutat acel canal din nou. Sunt de părere că în 2026 latura asta putea fi remediată, din moment ce clientul a plătit o sumă mai mare pentru un SONY față de competitori.

We bought this on a recommendation from John Lewis - excellent picture and great sound and perfectly installed by JL - the one drawback is that you watch TV through apps only - there is no guide or live TV facility unless you plug something else in - some apps like ITVX does not provide live TV option so we have had to re plug our EE box in - which we were told we could now do without - to get live TV and a TV guide. It would be helpful if someone had pointed this out.

Our first OLED screen and it is fantastic, especially for showing 4K UHD movies. Very grateful that Sony make the 48" OLED TV as we could not have the 55" and above in our sitting room. Overall the TV was easy to set up. However, we could have benefited from more guidance via the installation steps on setting up the audio system correctly (took a long time to discover the right HDR-ARC options).

I purchased this Sony Bravia XR A90K a few weeks ago from Amazon. Although quite happy with item, i purchased it not only for the expensive purchase it was and quality, but to claim my added 5 year warranty. I am quite disgusted that due to purchasing it from Amazon and not from an actual store, that i can't activate my extended 5 year warranty. I have tried everything i can posibly think of, even phoning Sony themselves but find it disgusting that they would do nothing to activate extended warranty!

The TV was easy to set up. It has two remote controls - one has fewer buttons but does all the common stuff. The other looks more like a “standard” remote control and I guess will allow me to do some things more easily. The GoogleTV part of this was easy to set up, and we got on line very easily. Picture quality is fantastic compared with what we had been used to, and the sound quality is great, too.

Lovely TV. Superb picture and I really wanted a Google TV so I could put apps on it (to get rid of bloatware + do proper streaming from my NAS drive). job done! Issues preventing 5 stars only one really - an integrated short power cable you can't change - I was wall mounting the tv so want a longer cable - had to splice the mains wire which I assume voids the guarantee. Unacceptable on such an expensive TV in my view! Oh - and the TV is quite thick compared to some newer TVs - I don't care, but if thats your thing,.....

I have had Sony Bravia's down the years, Sony camera's Sony Video camera's, sound systems, sound bars, photoframes etc etc....utter Sonyphile based on quality and performance...........right up until the last KD 3D TV....this I recently "upgraded" to this model.....what a disappointment...spent a great deal of money etc etc....Google TV....cannot alter aspect ratio on smart tv...only on external inputs....so example BBC I Player wrong aspect, looks weird....if 2016P selected, great in UHD with Sky etc....but change to normal TV ....poor picture....need to change to 1080P everytime....really wish I hadn't bothered....hopefully others will see what a trial you will have....very disappointed. No more Sony for me on anything now....

Picture and sound quality very good, strong depth of colour. Assembly of the stand legs, particularly screwing legs into deeply recessed holes in the back of the TV was a real challenge took 40 minutes of cursing!! Needs a redesign.

The picture is Clear vibrant, colours are excellent. Remote control buttons are very small, channel menu tv guide button is placed in the wrong position and much to small. No instruction book, remote receiver needs to be at the top of the tv unit. The program guide list / text is much to small so needs to be larger / more readable like our previous Panasonic TV. We brought this Sony TV because the Satellite Guide Text is in the Freesat sensible order like our previous Panasonic.

One of the few "small" 4k tvs available I am very happy with my purchase. An excellent quality picture and, though quite complicated to set up, I was impressed with the way it automatically tuned in to my sony av system. Upscaling dvds in fantastic too. I've had Sony tvs for decades and they have all been top quality.

Had this TV for a couple of weeks now. Picture quality is very good. Was told at purchase that it didn't need a sound bar. Not sure that is correct as the sound, at times, is not all that loud. At start-up, I have noticed that sometimes the speech is out of sync with the picture. Not sure if that is the program or the TV. a quick flick through other channels then back to the first program we looked at seems to fix it but it does seem a little odd that this occurs. Would be nice if the stand was easier to assemble or even ready attached. The stand it comes with is a dust trap unfortunately. Overall though, happy with my purchase even with the high price tag!

Love my new TV. A good size for a small London sitting room. Good sound quality, pleasing wide screen ratio is elegantly rectangular. Home page is well laid out and not too busy. Bought it to watch the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics so did the install myself. I am a non technical person and though the instructions are somewhat complicated I was able to work it out in the end. I definitely needed a second person to help lift the TV out of the box and on to the supports. So happy.

In my opinion the screen visuals of the A90K are fantastic, top quality. Standard sound without external speakers is good too and can be tweaked with Sony's analyser and equaliser. I still use Freeview a lot and the electronic programme guide has some UI issues. For example, you cannot directly enter the "Movies" "News" etc subsections without first scrolling right to the top of the EPG screen which is poor. Also having browsed for say a film in the EPG which starts in 10 minutes, the "view" button is greyed out so you cannot go straight to the channel in anticipation of the film starting in ten minutes, you have to come out of that section of the EPG and manually find the channel. Stupid! It needs a "go to channel" button or "view" needs replacing with "go to". I don't like the way Google TV can be over bearing and invasive. I don't like that I unnecessarily have to go all in with Google TV to use some apps. I don't consider Google TV to be a positive feature of the TV. The mains lead is very short and fixed to the tv, which can cause some installation issues.

Bought this tv 2 weeks ago having previously enjoyed several Sony tv’s before this one. Fairly easy to do basic set up to start watching tv. The user manual is easy to follow and allows you to make use of some or all of the many options available. Most of them are very useful and relevant for better enjoyment. The picture is of the high quality one might expect of a Sony OLED tv - with top notch broadcast quality output (not everything is up to that level sadly) the picture is stunning. Sound quality with sound bar support is also very good. Think I may in due course go the whole hog and buy a Theatre level sound system.

Je suis emballé par cet appareil. J'ai eu des Sony par le passé, mais en cathodique. Là je viens d'un Panasonic plasma, et je trouve que je perds en qualité d'image, même en passant à la 4K. Ceci dit les possibilités de cet appareil me plaisent beaucoup. En particulier la possibilité de couper l'image quand on écoute de la radio. La qualité sonore est excellente. J'ai même enlevé mon home cinema ! Le lecteur vidéo par défaut n'est pas performant. Il ne reconnait pas tous les formats, et a un fonctionnement erratique. Heureusement il y a d'autres apps pour ça. VLC par exemple a résolu la majorité des soucis que j'avais. Les télécommandes sont bien pensées, et très pratiques. Ce serait bien par contre de permettre n'importe quel bouton en accès rapide, et pas seulement le bouton "TV". Une sortie casque (analogique ou numérique) serait la bienvenue également. Mais globalement j'en suis très content. Je ne regrette pas mon achat, même pour ce prix.

I wish OLEDS were made in 32+ inches ____ ***3 complaints*** are 1st there should be labeling/recommendations for zero UV lights (no direct sun, UV film on windows, curtains... = even indirect sun causes bubbles = ***zero warranty*** even if within period @ a hardware issue not consumer fault/error ≈ military discount still "doesn't balance" costs, makes issue — bubble — acceptable) and 2nd no numbered remote (I still use regular TV the #s hrp alot) and 3rd lacking a 3.5mm audio output (such 3.5mm adds additional options for audio out = eARC, BT, 3.5mm @ same sound bars as AVRs allowing multiple sources) _____***POSITIVES*** stand is balanced and has a clean appearance. pictures is great. Sound is flat. (still good for regular TV & streaming = not enough for movies) DSEE and sound bar is recommended (Bluetooth sounds better = eARC to ES AVR is better) ____ Sony PRO production monitors are a better option but comes at a vastly greater pricing

Habe den Fernseher neu gekauft und installiert. Nach 6 Tagen verschwindet immer wieder der Ton. Habe es dann gleich be Euronics gemeldet. Mit einem Handy_Video. Sehr gut beraten worden bei Euronics. A really lovely tv and a great replacement for our older Sony ctv however, our old tv was not that good at streaming due to poor wifi reception and thought the new one would be better! unfortunately not ...it appears that it needs to be in the same room to get enough signal and bandwidth to work reliably even with an extender its not a lot better... may be our old house with thick walls but was hoping for better things otherwise its a brilliant tv

Upgraded to this model after previous Sony tv went wrong, John Lewis were brilliant and refunded the whole original purchase price as was only 18 months old, this is our first OLED tv and I have to say the picture is absolutely amazing, the reason for my 4* rating is that regardless of all the hype of the speakers being built into the screen the sound is still poor, as we already have a Sony sound bar it magnifies the problem, but if you have only been using tv speakers it’s probably acceptable

Schon ein paar Jahre in Betrieb. Beim Kauf, bei Media Markt Kiel falsch beraten worden. Mir wurde erzählt, das ich mit einer externen Festplatte aufnehmen kann, und dann die Festplatte wo anders Nutzen kann. Das stimmte leider nicht. Auch gab es Schwierigkeiten, zwischen Sony TV und Sky Box.

After 2 weeks i conqured the menu system " Too much " .... The removal of the headphone socket was a mistake. The menu to use headphones is too complicated. The size of the remote is annoying to use. The picture and sound are good but vsrious reviewers could not have used it in a domestic situation.

I am so disappointed with the remote controls (2) The backlit one is brilliant for my not too good eyesight when using it. Only trouble is I cannot fast forward with it and I have to use the 2nd remote. This 2nd one is cheap and smaller and not very ergonomically designed. Could they have a rethink? Also because I have used the backlit remote so much trying out the different options, the batteries only lasted about 2 weeks (expensive!) The picture is sharp and colour is good. Sound without a soundbar is better than my previous tv. Wish the front page was brighter (not easy to read as it is so much darker) Having said all this I am happy so far with my choice. Time will tell.

Excellent in every respect EXCEPT when you do a software update - it is necessary to do a full factory reset after doing the software update otherwise old data in the system causes misbehaviour of the menu for setting reminders. Doing a full reset means you have to re-enter all your account information for Prime, Netflix, etc etc. Is it incompatibility between Sony and Google software or a bug in either of these? Sony are currently investigating this.

We've had our new TV for one week and are very pleased with it. The picture is great. We also bought the Sony Theatre Bar 6 and are pleased with the sound.

I decided it was time to treat myself to a new tv, bigger than my previous one! The twist in the story is that I was adamant I wanted a Samsung! I went in to the shop, looked at 3 different Samsung tv's, spoke to the assistant and came out with a Sony! And I couldn't be more pleased! Great picture, terrific sound and very easy to set up. Roll on the winter Olympics which will look so much better on this tv! Thanks Sony!

We bought the 48" version for a large room and it's a pleasure to watch - the picture is excellent and the sound is good on its own. It took a couple of hours to set up using google tv, but half of this was some issues we had with google not the actual tv set, which had a fairly straightforward set of instructions. We haven't attached any other equipment to it so can't comment on that. The menu system is fine - what with different apps there are always a few steps needed to move between them. Haven't tried using verbal instructions as the remote works fine.
