It work wit my A7s , with power zoom lens 18-200 E month you can turn camera on/off zoom out and zoom in T/W working Record botton working the only problem for me only is i couldn't find 25 feet cable to connect the camera from jib/crane's head to place that operator stand.

Use this with my A7S-II. As a remote for still photography it is great. Shooting video the record stop / start is easier to use on the remote than on the camera but I have had a few times when it didn't start or stop during a professional shoot. Like others my main concern is the rough zoom control. Wish it was smooth so it could be a live zoom control. It also doesn't clip well on my tripod. Wish the clip opened a bit wider and would rotate. I use G series lens and the zoom would not work at all because I had my camera set to "optical zoom only". Figured out the nmenu had to be on "clear Image zoom", whatever that means, for the remote zoom to function. It should work in the optical setting too. Their is also a power on/off switch which turns the camera on and off. Not sure if it will save battery power since the camera is still physically switched on but during the shoot you can turn the camera on and off through the remote trigger. Again, in still photography this remote works great for long exposures. You can also lock the shutter open. I recomend it as a remote. Just know it's weakness and I hope Sony might take the zoom rocker and ability to better fit on tripods into account as the product matures or is replaced.

I bought this item to be used on my camcorder and Rx10 camera. I have not use it much yet but so far it does the job. It would have been much better if there is no cable.

Good deal for the price but 2 issues, 1. clamp is pretty weak and rotates on a handle shaft but I wrapped some tape around the handle and it's much better. 2. The zoom seems non linear, very slow then jumps to fast when pressing in/out.

Lässt sich leicht am Schwenkarm des Stativs befestigen. Lässt sich aber auch ewas zu leicht verdrehen. Lässt sich leicht aus der Halterung nehmen, wichtig bei Aufnahmen mit Langzeitbelichtung.

Schade, Erwartungen wurden nicht erfüllt. Der Zoom an der RX100V über die Fernbedienung läuft sehr ungleichmäßig, viel zu schnell und sehr schlecht einstellbar (entweder zuviel oder zuwenig). Das USB micro Kabel kann nicht verlängert werden, da Sony eigene Kontakte eingeführt hat, aber keine Verlängerung anbietet!!!! ........ dafür ist die Fernbedienung zu teuer!

J'ai acheté cet article pour répondre à deux objectifs. Le premier afin d'avoir une télécommande lorsque je fais quelques petites vidéo (gestion du zoom notamment et On/Off). Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de l'utiliser lors de prises de vues mais le test "à blanc" effectué semble satisfaisant. La possibilité d'avoir une vitesse lente pour la gestion du zoom aurait été appréciée. Le second afin de limiter les flou de bougé lors de la prise de photo macro notamment avec le SEL30M35. De même l'acquisition récente ne m'a pas encore permis de l'utiliser sur le terrain, mais les essais sur trépied me donnent entière satisfaction. Bon produit pouvant remplacer provisoirement la télécommande plus élaborée d'un trépied.

Looked for a remote to go with my DSC-RX100 M3 and found the VPR1. All functions provided work perfectly. Great for videos as well as stills. 1st impressions were that it felt slightly flimsy in hand, but has proved to be solid enough for the job.

Fonctions conformes à la description. Permet de mettre en service l'appareil et de déclencher la prise de photo. Il y a une petite pince amovible, pivotable qui permet d'adapter la prise. Je l'utilise dans un montage de digiscopie. C'est impeccable. J'aurais voulu pouvoir reprogrammer la fonction zoom en focus et aussi recharger l'appareil photo avec le déclencheur connecté, mais c'est juste une idée d'amélioration.

Die Fernbedienung schließe ich an meiner neuen handycam HDR-PJ530 an, wenn ich mit Stativ Aufnahmen mache. Das Kabel ist mit ca. 86 cm für mich lang genug, den Clip (mit Fernbedienung) klemme ich am Stativ fest. Nach dem Einstellen des Motivs ist der Aus-/Einschalter sehr praktisch, wenn ich auf das „Bildereignis“ länger warten muß. Ohne Clip halte ich die Fernbedienung in meiner Hand. Für die Funktion „Foto“ benutze ich sie so, daß das Kabel zur Kamera zeigt und ich mit dem Daumen den Auslöser drücken kann, wobei ich die Feststelltaste nicht brauche. Zum „Filmen“ nehme ich die Fernbedienung mit dem Kabel zu mir zeigend in meine Hand, die Beschriftung ist nun kopfstehend. Nun kann ich mit dem Daumen den Zoom stufenlos feinfühlig (schnell/langsam) einstellen und die Start/Stop-Taste bequem bedienen, ob sich Sony das so gedacht hat ? Ich finde es jedenfalls prima, daß ich die Fernbedienung voll in der Hand halten kann. Endlich kann ich den ganzen Zoom für verwacklungsfreie Aufnahmen nutzen, das macht richtig Spaß.

Utilisation de la télécommande

Super : J'utilise la télécommande sur un RX 100 II lui même monté sur une lunette Swarovski (digiscopie). Cela évite grandement les bougés au déclenchement et la mise au point est vraiment facilitée. Donc très efficace. Nettement moins super : la connectique entre câble et télécommande se verrouille peu. Résultat, lors d'un déplacement entre 2 lieux de prise de vue, perte de la télécommande ... il ne reste plus que le câble sur l'appareil photo !!! Dons bricolez-vous des liaisons pour éviter cela : petit lien entre câble et appareil photo à un bout et même chose entre câble et télécommande. Ce n'est pas forcément très esthétique mais cela évite de devoir acheter une 2ème télécommande. Voilà pour le petit retour d'expérience demande à renfort de méls par Sony ... Bonnes photos à tous.

J'ai acheté cette télécommande pour pratiquer de la digiscopie (photographie animalière à travers l'oculaire d'une longue-vue) avec mon appareil photo compact Sony RM-RX100 M2. Elle permet de prendre des clichés sans faire trembler l'appareil. Elle est parfaite pour cet usage.

Selbstverständlich gehört, wie in meinem Fall die Fotokamera, auf ein Stativ. So kann man die vorhandenen Möglichkeiten der Fernbedienung voll ausreizen, wenn sie an einer Multibuchse an der Kamera verbunden werden kann. Ob in der Hand oder mit dem Klipp am Stativ befestigt, Ein- Ausschalter, Auslöser, Teletaste oder Videotaste lassen sich dank ihrer Größe leicht erfühlen, so das der Blick ununterbrochen auf das Foto- oder Filmmotiv über die Kamera hinweg und nicht auf den voreingestellten Monitor bleiben kann. J'ai acheté cet article dès sa sortie, malheureusement le câble reliant la télécommande à l'appareil est trop court. Impossible d'utiliser cette commande via un grue ou pour commander l'appareil au bout d'une perche. D'autant plus que les télécommandes sans fil ne sont pas (encore) compatibles avec une connectique micro usb sony

The rocker switch has a 'course' rather than 'fine' feel to it. Difficult to be precise for our shooters and perhaps other camera operators will have a more deft sense of touch. A big negative is this remote mounts on the pan bar at a 90 degree angle rather than inline as most remotes and LANC controllers do. Since this device has no competition, users (of PJ540's anyway) are sort of stuck with it. But, since it is the only game in town, it's better than not having a remote.

can not take picture with HX300

all functions work with HX300 , zoom, focus, video record, power on -off,except for the 2nd push to actually take a photo. that's a big problem since I got it eliminate hand shake when shooting stills with extreme zoom.
