Very compact and works fine. The cord tidy isn't very effective. I would have liked to have a lock on the remote to enable lock bulb setting.

Dies ist eine elektronische Fernbedienung mit einer zusätzlichen Ader für die Spannungsversorgung. Eine normale Fernbedienung, die nur Kontakte herstellt zum Fokussieren und Auslösen funktioniert nicht zuverlässig. Das Kabel an dieser Fernbedienung ist zu kurz um mit dem 90mm Makro ein Selbstportrait zu machen. Ein Verlängerungskabel gibt es bei Sony nicht. Sony verwendet einen proprietären Multi/Micro-USB Anschluß mit 10 zusätzlichen Kontakten. Deshalb werden Standard-Verlängerungskabel für Micro-USB wahrscheinlich nicht funktionieren. Außerdem entsprechen Verlängerungsleitungen nicht dem USB Standard, da der zulässige Spannungsabfall nicht zu überschritten werden darf. Es sind also z.B. auch keine Aufnahmen von Tieren aus einem Versteck heraus möglich. Selbstportraits sind mit der A7 kaum möglich, weil man bei Benutzung des Selbstauslösers manuell fokussieren muß!

Achetée pour l'utilisation de mon boîtier sur trépied. Évite les vibrations, le fil est assez long et elle ne pèse quasiment rien, très facile d'utilisation mais il manque le blocage du bouton pour les poses longues (mode bulb).

I have some pretty bad hand shake when holding my camera, so this remote helps remind me to use a tripod and stop shaking the camera while shooting. It also helps me look at the overall scene rather than just at the viewfinder. I think that's helpful when shooting a portrait; because, it enables me to frame the shot on the sitter, compose, and then step back and watch the small movements and adjustments. This also enables me to shoot more with less ache in my back, arms, legs, knees, and any other joints.
