Excellent product, an upgrade on my previous Leica DLux. I bought it as I wanted the small form factor, but also wanted zoom telephoto, built in flash, excellent optics and best sensor size. I have not been disappointed- fantastic focus times, great colour rendering and very sharp telephoto zoom shots of birds in my garden. Only disadvantages over my previously owned Leica are poorer battery life, and strange inability to bulk delete all images short of reformatting every time. All the rest are pluses!

Pro: leicht, universell einsetzbar, tolle Bildqualität, perfekter Zoombereich Cons: viel zu teuer. Da würde man zumindest eine Abdichtung erwarten, damit ein leichter Regen oder Brandungsaufnahmen ohne Risiken sind. Auch sollten bei rasch erschöpftemAkku ein Ladegerät sowie ein Ersatzakku im Preis enthaltensein. Das gleiche ist für einen Handgriff, ohne den sie nur schlecht zu halten ist. Deshalb leider keine bessere Gesamtwertung.

J'ai acheté un RX100 VI d'occasion. Au bout de plusieurs mois, j'ai eu un message C3260 indiquant un problème majeur sur l'autofocus du zoom. Différents avis sur des forums remontent ce problème de manière fréquente. Néanmoins, j'ai fait réparer mon appareil (30% du prix neuf de l'appareil). Je suis très satisfait de la réparation. Merci au service SAV.

Extremely disappointed with Sony

I had been a huge Sony advocate all my life. I have spent thousands of $s on Sony predicts from from TVs to Camcorders, surround sound systems etc. I purchased the Sony RX100 VI. I used it for 2 weeks in Europe. I came back to the States. I had it sit in the drawer for about 3 months. The next time I started using it, after an upgrade, it generated Error Code E91.01. My viewfinder and the flash stopped working. I had the unit reset, re-initialized, followed all possible fixes found on the internet, and none worked,. I contacted Sonya support and was told that the only way to have it fixed is to send it in and pay over $300. Having paid over $1200 to buy the camera and then after a year ( but only 2 weeks of use,) paying another $300 was extremely unreasonable. Consequently I stopped using this camera and went on to purchase 2 Leica cameras. Sony lost close to $8000 of my business. I have also stopped over 30 people from buying Sony products. Your company mistreated me as one of your most loyal clients.

bon appareil , complet et petit facilement glissage dans la poche . par contre je suis déçu du zoom (x8) car je l'ai en remplacement d'un super hx50 (capteur plus petit) mais il faisait d'exemple phot avec son zoom de X30.

Trotz Varioobjektiv bis 200mm sind gute Aufnahmen bei schwachem Licht möglich. Bis jetzt (2 Tage) habe ich keine Möglichkeit gefunden bei dr sehr guten Voll-Automatik eine Mindest-Verschlußzeit bei schwachem Licht zu festzulegen. Ich vermute, daß hierzu die Programmautomatik dient. Als nachteilig finde ich, dass die Kamera keinen Halt an der Vordeseite bietet und daher nicht sicher mit einer Hand gehalten werden kann.

Love this camera. As a professional I like to have good kit. This little beast is packed with features and performances are incredible . The zoom is awesome and video in log are good. Size is tiny and perfect for the pocket whilst traveling or just street photography. First day with it I shot a lingerie brand with it and the shots looked beatiful.

Ich nutze Sony RX100 Kameras seit Jahren auf Reisen und Wanderurlauben. Die Kamera ist sehr kompakt und lässt sich leicht bedienen durch versenkbares Objektiv, Motorzoom und Objektivschutz entsprechend wie bei anderen kleinen Kompaktkameras. Trotzdem hat die Kamera Funktionen und eine Bildqualität vergleichbar einer Systemkamera. Sensor und Optik sind qualitativ auf einem hohen Niveau. Sucher und Display haben ebenfalls eine gute Wiedergabequalität. Beim Wechsel von einer Systemkamera gibt es wenig, was dies Kamera nicht auch kann. Prinzipielle Nachteile des Kamerakonzepts wären allerdings: kleine Bedienelemente, umfangreiche Menüs, Gehäuse nicht griffig, kein Filtergewinde. Damit kann man sich aber arrangieren und sich z.B. Schnellzugriffe für bestimmte Einstellungen einrichten.

Appareil techniquement au point, mais compliqué à maitriser (la notice s'adresse à des connaisseur sans expliquer ce que l'on peut faire avec telle commande). Surtout il manque une poignée comme celle, tellemnt utile, présente sur le sony DSC-HX9V.

Gute Fotoqualität, viele Möglichkeiten und Modi zur Bildgestaltung und Bilderfassung, Bedienung leider etwas hakelig. Computersoftware für die Kamera ist verbesserungsbedürftig. Mit der Bildverwaltung unter Windows ist nichts anzufangen. Da gibt es im Freewarebereich weitaus bessere Software.

Die optische Qualität und die Haptik (aber nur mit Griff!) hat mich zwar überzeugt. In der Praxis ist sie leider durchgefallen, da die Camera nach 4 Wochen Benutzung "wegen Feuchtigkeit" ausfiel. Daher habe ich die Benutzerfreundlichkeit nur mi einem Stern bewertet. Keine Gewährleistung.

ai acheté cet appareil près de 1000 € en 2019. Il a très peu servi (environ 3000 photos) et j'en ai toujours pris grand soin. En 2023, il est tombé en panne : viseur et flash ne marchent plus. Et bien sûr il n'est plus garanti.

Bought as a small and compact camera that could also do 4K video. While the photos are very good, and 1080p works OK the 4k mode is next to useless. You get a maximum of 5 minutes before it stops. Try recording again and it's a complete lottery as to how long it will work for, might get a minute or two. This needs to be fixed in a firmware update. Simply not worth the price point with this major flaw.

I bought this camera from Amazon and after taking my time getting used to the settings I found that it wasn't taking pictures as good as my old Sony camera that was a quarter of the price that I paid for this one. By then too much time had passed for me to return it to Amazon. I am sure it is a great camera as I have never had a problem with Sony products but I am unable to afford to pay for repairs. I wish Sony could replace it.

Small and versatile - makes a great travel camera

The small size means I can carry it in a pocket (though I do put it in a lens pouch to keep dust out). The optional AGR2 grip is essential to stop me dropping it if I use it one handed. The image quality is excellent and 20Mp is more than enough, so images can be cropped quite heavily if necessary. The zoom range is from 24mm (unnecessarily wide, I would settle for 28mm) to 200mm which will pick out detail in landscapes or buildings. Not enough for bird photography but it will do nearly everything else. There is no macro setting on the lens and the maximum aperture is a bit low for hand held low light photos. I haven't used the viewfinder as much as I thought I would - probably because I wear glasses - but the tilting screen is so useful for waist level, ground level or above your head shots. Also the brightness can be set to 'sunny day' for better visibility. Also useful are the memory recall options for favourite settings. These include zoom length, reducing the time it takes to go from 24 when it's switched on to wherever on the range you actually want for the shot. I've reprogrammed the buttons to get quickly to all the menu settings I need - the only one which can't be changed unfortunately is the 'Movie' button, which I don't use. A spare battery is essential when you're out for the day and they are very small and light. I use an off-camera charger so I don't ever have to stop using the camera. I'm still practising with the focussing - it seems very fast and accurate.

Gewohnt starke Bildqualität

Bildqualität gewohnt klasse, Fokus via Touch sehr gut (schnell und präzise). Da ich vorher schon eine ähnliche Kamera hatte, gab es keine Probleme mit dem Handling. Zusätzlich gibt es die Möglichkeit, individuelle Einstellungen zu speichern bzw. Menue zu konfogurieren. Akkulaufzeit ist gut, sofern nicht ausschließlich höchauflösenden Vidoes gemacht werden. Es ist unbedingt zu empfehlen, eine Schutzfolie auf das Display anzubringen. Schade ist außerdem, dass kein Speichermedium mitgeliefert wurde, Zu Bemängeln wären die Apps: Kamera möchte sich partout nicht via Bluetooth verbinden, auch bei Verbindung mit USB-Kabel wird diese nicht von der Imaging-App erkannt.

Nach etwa 500 Bildern bin ich hoch zufrieden. Hervorragende Bildqualität im RAW Format unter den meisten Bedingungen verglichen mit einer DX Kamera. Sehr gut brauchbar bis ASA 1600 bei Ausarbeitung mit LR. Mit DXOPure raw noch höher in excellenter Qualität!! Die jpg Aufbereitung ist aber leider ziemlich schlecht. Farben verfälscht und insgesamt zu harte Ausarbeitung, das machen Mitbewerber leider besser!

Enttäuschung: defekt nach 2,5 Jahren!

Ich kaufte diese Kamera für eine spezielle Reise im Jahre 2020, die "natürlich" der Pandemie zum Opfer fiel, aber im Sommer 2022 nachgeholt werden konnte. Die Kamera machte wunderschöne Fotos. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Als ich dann eine gewisse Zeit nach der Reise (ein halbes Jahr nach Ablauf der Garantie!!!!) wieder Fotos machen wollte, öffnete sich die Kamera nicht mehr. Zur Reparatur eingeschickt: Motherboard sei defekt. Kostenpunkt fast CHF 500.- und nur 3 Monate erneute Garantie. So sehr ich mit dem Vorläufermodell DSC-HX90V zufrieden war, so sehr bin ich von der RX100 VI enttäuscht. Die Kamera kostete fast CHF 900.- und funktioniert sage und schreibe zweieinhalb Jahre ....

Photos sind qualitativ prima. Einstellmöglichkeiten machen den Kamera sehr flexibel. Schade dass es keine Bluetooth Fernlöser Möglichkeit gibt, die Lösung mit Handy is nah ja... Imaging Edge Desktop für PC mit Windows 11 ist eine Katastrophe, läuft einfach nicht.

Le capteur et l'objectif engrangent, à l'intérieur, trop de poussières impossibles à nettoyer. Par contre, avec la garantie FNAC 5 ans, il m'a été changé déjà deux fois depuis 2015. Néanmoins, un excellent "carnet de croquis", dont certains résultats peuvent être acceptables en professionnel de l'image. Et, heureusement, il existe encore la possibilité de tout régler en manuel.

Great camera. The lens broke twice

I absolutely loved this camera. It was great for travel and hiking. It does not have such good protection against dust and dirt. Also, the zoom lens broke after 2.5 years of owning it. The cost to repair was $600. Since my insurance company paid for it, I fixed it. The repair also broke again after 6 months. Having said that, I just purchased the RX100 VII. Hopefully I will have better luck.

Good Camera, short battery life

I spent much more on this camera than I intended to as an upgrade to my lost Sony HX90V. I love the photos it produces but I am very disappointed with the battery life. I am only getting around 60 'ordinary' shots before I have to recharge and have had to resort to buying 2 back up batteries.

Leider hing der 48 Gramm schwere Monitor noch am Leiterband, viel auf einmal runter. ( Bild 2). Bei 48 Gramm zerreißt das Leiterband ( Kabelbaum für Monitor.)

I bought this after a mid-range Lumix camera lense focus failed, in under a year and was denied repairs under warranty (an experience many others have also suffered, judging from online enquiries). So I decided to change brand and was attracted to the RX100 by its superior optical performance, and despite some press reviews commenting about small controls and hard to understand menus. Well, I'm no photo geek, but I have found the controls and menus far easier and more intuitive to use than my previous Lumix, and the image quality and the accuracy of the automatic setting under all conditions is outstanding. Other control options are all easy to bring into play, understand and adjust. In short, it is a joy to use!

I initially bought this camera for my upcoming holiday and thought I would give it a go at my daughters dance competition, seen as though "Professional Cameras" aren't allowed (interchangeable lens essentially)! I really can't complain. Speed shots isn't its forte but I thought it coped extremely well. I really can't wait to see the landscape shots this little gem can produce!

Instructions supplied pathetic. Tell you to go online spending ages searching. Why can't we have clear written handbook?

I bought this camera to replace a larger camera that I couldn't be bothered to carry around on walks etc. The picture quality is excellent even on digital zoom and it does everything asked of it. Even when photographing into the sun there are very few internal reflections to spoil the view. I found all it's features a little difficult to follow until I got used to them. The high price was worth it!

I am really satisfied with this camera, using it in best JPEG mode. Although I often use extra sharpening afterwards. Missing a good adaption of the 'auto ISO' function when taking pics at high shutterspeed ("S") . The ISO too much in bright weather (bad for the quality).... often have to adjust the shutter time 4x speed.... instead of lower ISO. No possibillity to adjust the ISO quickly. Functions are not good working together. Still think this is one of the best options for an easy to take pocket camera with good/ almost professional (and important) 200 mm zoom. Would have given it a 4,5.... but not a 5. .

Nachdem ich jahrelang mit dem Vorgängermodell RX II so richtig glücklich war, habe ich mir vor einigen Wochen die RX100 VI gekauft. Leider konnte ich bisher noch keine direkten Vergleichsfotos machen, da seit dem Kauf immer nur schwierige Lichtverhältnisse vorherrschend waren. Oder anders ausgedrückt: Mistwetter. Dafür kann Sony nichts und ich warte geduldig auf Fotografiersituationen, bei denen ich dann direkte qualitative Vergleiche ziehen kann (das Vorgängermodell lieferte gestochen scharfe Bilder). Dann musste ich mir nach dem Kauf noch ein Anleitungsbuch kaufen, um die ersten Anfängerfehler bei den automatischen Einstellungen zu vermeiden. Nun sind die Fotos schon etwas besser geworden. Wenig begeistert bin ich gerade vom Winter-Cashback Prozedere, bei dem es einem der Hersteller maximal schwierig macht, um die 100,00 EUR zu erhalten. Alles in allem, kein so guter Start wie beim Vorgängermodell. Aber ich bin noch guter Dinge, dass ich irgendwann mit den Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden sein werde.

I've had an original RX100 (Mark I) for years and upgraded for the better zoom. Still learning about all the additional features but very pleased so far. Battery life doesn't seem as good as the Mark I but I've got some spare batteries.

This is a great camera, once you get the hang of the menu system and customise it to your needs it is quick to operate and not too fiddly, the pop up viewfinder is very good, the lens is sharp even at the telephoto, better than the Lumix TZ200, which zooms more but is soft at the long end. I am selling my much larger RX10 as this camera does it all

Die Kamera ist sehr handlich und somit geeignet sie immer dabei zu haben. Um nicht immer meine große Fotoausrüstung mitzunehmen habe ich mir diese Kamera zugelegt. Ich habe bereits die Mk III. Für Spaziergänge in der Natur ist diese Kamera auf Grund des Brennweitenbereichs sehr gut geeignet. Einziger Wehmutstropfen ist der hohe Preis. Habe die Kamera mit CashBack gekauft und so noch ein paar Euros gespart.

Die Sony RX100 VI ist eine sehr kompakte und ausgezeichnete Kamera mit vielen Funktionen. Sie hat einen ausreichenden Zoombereich. Die Kamera ist hochwertig verarbeitet. Sie hat einen ausgezeichneten, hochklappbaren Sucher und einen sehr schnell arbeitenden Autofokus. Die Kamera hat viele Einstellmöglichkeiten und kann individuell angepasst werden. FAZIT: Die Sony RX100 VI ist eine sehr gute und kompakte Kamera für unterwegs und wird ihrem Preis gerecht.

Die Mark 6 ergänzt seit ein paar Wochen meine Mark 3. High Tech im Taschenformat. Ich bin restlos begeistert. Ist mittlerweile meine "Daily use"- Kamera. Meine Sony APSC - Kameras bleiben immer öfter im Schrank. Top Bildqualität, geringes Rauschverhalten und sogar die Nachtaufnahmen sind der Hammer! Gebe hier eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe die Kamera erst 14 Tage und bin eigentlich noch voll am probieren. Die Möglichkeiten mit der Kamera sind gewaltig. Der Autofocus ist rasend schnell, vielseitig und sehr genau. Ansonsten: Eine Sony halt aber was für Eine. Die Videofunktionen hab ich noch nicht probiert.

Je posséde le HX 90 à super zoom et aussi le RX 10 IV superlatif. Cet appareil possède des qualités d' image digne du grand capteur sans avoir le poids du RX 10. Par rapport au 90, si le sujet est très loin, l' image est meilleure avec le 90 à 600 ou 700 mm ( équivalent ) que le 200 agrandi , mais toujours inférieure à celle obtenue avec le RX 10. Pour les trois, le reproche est dans la complexité des menus, il faut bien les connaître pour s' en arranger.
