Nicht die Kamera macht das Foto, sondern das Objektiv. Hier habe ich für meine Alpha 6400 bereits eine beträchtliche Sammlung, verwende aber überwiegend ein Sony SELP18105G. Ich liebe es ob seiner Vielfältigkeit. Eines hat mich aber immer gestört: Die relativ große Mindestblende von vier. Richtig freistellen ist damit nicht. Daher habe ich mich nach langem Zögern zum Kauf des SEL1655G entschieden, trotz hohem Preis und fehlendem Bildstabilisator. Funktioniert das mit einer Alpha 6400? Das Objektiv kommt in einer typischen Sony Objektiv-Pappschalchtel zum Kunden. Mitgeliefert ist eine einfache Stofftasche, die meiner Meinung nach aber nicht genug Schutz für ein so teures Objektiv bietet. Lieber etwas besser gepolstertes nachkaufen. Der optische Eindruck ist hervorragend. Es ist nicht ganz so massiv wie mein SELP18105, dafür aber noch ein wenig schwerer. Neben dem AF / MF Schalter gibt es noch einen freibelegbaren Knopf, ich habe ihn mit Zebra an/aus konfiguriert. Was mir persönlich fehlt ist eine Zoom-Verriegelung. Ich verwende einen Sunsniper Schultergurt, der am Stativgewinde verschraubt wird. So lässt sich die Kamera problemlos auch über lange Strecken tragen. Leider fährt dabei durch die Lauferschütterungen der Zoom Stück für Stück aus, das gefällt mir überhaupt nicht (Lens Creep). Ich vermisse den internen Zoom meines SELP18105G. Workaround: Es gibt Gummibänder mit denen man das Problem gut in den Griff bekommt. Es muss dabei nicht der teure Marktführer sein. Die Bildqualität ist über alle Zweifel erhaben. Auch bis in die Ecken ist alles scharf, selbst bei Blende 2.8. Das ist schon beeindruckend. Über das Bokeh gibt es unterschiedliche Ansichten, vielen ist es zu unruhig. Mir gefällt es erst mal richtig gut, da ich bisher überwiegend mit hohen Blendenzahlen fotografiert habe. Über den Autofokus konnte ich mir noch kein abschließendes Urteil bilden. Hier habe ich hohe Ansprüche, da zu meinen Lieblingsmotiven mein Hund gehört, und der ist schnell. Der Nachführ-Autofokus hat Schwierigkeiten mit ihm wenn er auf mich zu rennt. Trotz einer 2000er Verschlusszeit hat er Aussetzer bei Serienbildern, verliert gerne mal sein Ziel oder pausiert. Das ist mit beim halb so teuren SELP18105G eher selten passiert. Möglicherweise liegt es an der Offenblende. Hier habe ich vom Linerarmotor aus der G-Master Serie ein bisschen mehr erwartet. Aber das ist Kritik auf hohem Niveau. Kommen wir zum letzten Punkt: Dem fehlenden Bildstabilisator. Das ist natürlich ein nicht zu vernachlässigender Punkt wenn die Kamera keinen eigenen Stabilisator mitbringt. Mit hohen Verschlusszeiten bei Tieraufnahmen gibt es natürlich keine Probleme. Aber abgeblendet oder bei schlechtem Licht muss man darauf achten, dass die Verschlusszeit nicht unter eine 100stel Sekunde fällt, sonst gibt es viel Ausschuss. Das kostet Zeit bei der Konfiguration. Andererseits achtet man auch mehr auf andere Details, wie z.B. die ISOs niedrig zu halten. Ein weiterer Workaround: Unter Menü ISO Einstellungen kann man die Mindestverschlusszeit auf 125 setzen. Damit gibt es dann keine Probleme mehr. Fazit: Das SEL1655G ist ein beeindruckendes Stück Technik. Die Fotos werden knackscharf, die Farben sind brillant. Der fehlende Bildstabilisator wiegt bei einem Premiumobjektiv der oberen Preisklasse schon schwer, ich ziehe einen Stern dafür ab. Nichts desto trotz kann man das Objektiv zum fotografieren auch an einer unstabilisierten Kamera nutzen. Fehlen tut mir eine Zoom Verriegelung. Das Bokeh des Objektivs ist nicht unumstritten; mir gefällt es.

Habe mir das Objektiv für meine FX 30 gekauft. Die Lichtstärke 2.8 ist durchgehend von 16 mm bis 55 mm. Der Fokus arbeitet sehr präzise und schnell. Bis jetzt habe ich noch keine Videos mit aufgenommen, sondern nur Bilder. Diese werden absolut scharf. Sony verspricht in seiner Produktinformation nicht zu viel.

Als Upgrade auf Kitobjektive (16-50 und 18-135) wieder problemloser fotografieren. Nach den ersten Spaziergängen mit dem Objektiv: Bereits mit Offenblende bis in die Randbereiche scharf genug, auch das Bokeh ist natürlich je nach verwendeter Blende stärker ausgeprägt und wirkt auch gefällig und nicht so unruhig wie das 18-135 manchmal. Ein Stabi wäre natürlich schön gewesen, aber bei dem Brennweitenbereich noch gut verzichtbar - dann lieber kompakt. Gewicht, Größe, Verarbeitung und Haptik sehr gut, Preis-/Leistung - bei Inanspruchnahme von Sonderaktionen (hier: Cashback) jedenfalls - m.E. gut. Vermutlich als neues Immerdrauf, unterwegs in Kombi mit dem 85mm/f1.8 genügend Möglichkeiten...

Ich nutze das Objektiv erst seit Dez. 2024 - aber im Vergleich zum 16-70 F4 Zeiss ist das Ding wesenlich besser. Die F2.8 macht viel aus bei wenig Licht. Manchmal fehlt mit etwas die Brennweite bos 70mm und die dadurch mögliche Freistellung. Auch Größe und Gewicht ist mehr, aber es bereitet viel mehr Freude damit Fotos zu machen!

von der Bildsprache extrem hochwertig ! tolles Bokeh ! scharf bis zu den Ecken ! extrem schneller Autofokus, wäre perfekt, wenn ein Stabi dabei wäre. Ansonsten kann man die Sigma Festbrennweiten 16mm / 30mm / 56mm getrost zuhause lassen. Klar, die haben zwar Blende F1.4 aber ansonsten von der Schärfe so gut wie kein Unterschied. Die beste Kamera (Objektiv) ist die, die man dabei hat. Der Sensor bleibt auch sauber, da nicht ständig gewechselt werden muss :-)

Très heureux du rendu de cet objectif pour APS-C. Monté sur le ZV-E10 II, le combo donne une qualité d'image incroyable. Néanmoins, l'objectif accuse son âge. Un update ne serait pas inutile afin de l'alléger un peu et lui offrir un meilleur équilibre. Ajouter une bague d'ouverture déclinable et un 2ème bouton personnalisable (comme les GM II plein format) en ferait un incontournable pour les boîtiers APS-C Sony. Ceci serait d'autant plus utile que les boîtiers s'affinent et que certains ne disposent pas de viewfinder. Cela étant dit, il rend grâce au G qui lui est apposé et offre un rendu exceptionnel avec ce capteur de 26Mpx, tant en photo qu'en vidéo. À acheter avec tout APS-C Sony car son équivalent 24-82.5 en plein format en fait un incontournable pour un rendu de qualité avec le minimum de post-traitement.

I do mostly video with an FX-30. I expected I would use my motorized 18-105 f/4 APSC zoom G-lens more because of the extra zoom factor and the motor, an use the 16-55 for beauty stills or special shots. But instead I use this all the time. The 18-105 just does not focus close enough and you can't beat the 2.8 aperture. I wish they'd offer a motorized zoom version of this, but I guess they can't fit the motor.

Das Objektiv ist super, besonders der große Brennweitenbereich ist beeindruckend und das durchgängig bei F 2.8, doch leider ist es auch größer und schwerer in der Praxis als ich dachte. Als Standartobjektiv, das immer mitgenommen wird, eignet es sich tatsächlich nur bedingt, da trägt man doch einiges mit sich rum. Die Bildqualität ist gut, mir manchmal etwas zu weich, aber dass ist Geschmackssache, Festbrennweiten sind knackiger.

I wanted a lens that would give me close to the same range on my A6700 as I enjoy on my Sony R1s and this has fitted the bill very nicely. It’s a compact zoom that is easy to carry around that is well made and finished, looking handsome on the A6700. Zoom and focus rings have well-weighted movements. The lens mount is tight and positive. The 67mm filter thread allows me to adopt a lot of the accessories that I use on the R1s and the other lenses I have for this system. The already decent close framing at the long end is boosted to mild macro levels with a 10mm extension tube or a supplementary close-up lens such as the Sony VCL-M3367, both of which are light and easy to carry and further extend the versatility of this zoom. Optically, this is a very good performer and the constant f2.8 aperture makes it versatile in all lighting conditions. When stopped down a little you get the best out of it. Pixel peeping reveals very good, if not stellar, micro-contrast but sharpness is admirable and I’m very happy with the results so far. Focus speed is excellent and it’s good that Sony have provided a focus-hold button on the lens body as well as the AF / MF switch. Stabilisation provided by the A6700 works very well with this lens allowing me to shoot down to 1/20 sec. at the telephoto-end - pretty remarkable. This lens is an ideal walk-around and travel companion with lovely handling and I’m going to be using it often.

Am achizitionat acest obiectiv in primul rand datorita versatilitatii: 16 - 55mm aps-c (24 - 82.5 mm echivalent FF), plaja este potrivita in orice moment pentru orice tip de fotografii: peisaje, arhitectura, strada, familie, portret, natura/animale. Al doilea motiv pentru care l-am ales a fost claritatea optica si luminozitatea (f2.8), am vrut cea mai buna calitate, si din experienta pot sa confirm ca este excelent, nota 10. Un al treilea motiv este ca acest obiectiv inlocuieste lejer 3 obiective (16,30,50), ceea ce pentru mine inseamna o greutate mai mica la bagaj dar si mai putine griji ca nu stric obiectivul cand il schimb cu altul si nici nu prafuiesc senzorul camerei. Mi-ar fi placut sa fi avut si stabilizare optica, dar chiar si asa, pe foto, nu simt diferenta deoarece plaja este relativ mica (16-55) si merge foarte bine si fara OSS.

This has got to be the sharpest lens i have ever used. The focusing is so fast on my a6400 is truly amazing and I havent lost a fast moving shot yet. It does look bulky on the a6400, but it feels balanced. Well worth the purchase.

I have used many Sony lens and this one has the most build of lens elements in the design. Having used cameras for over fifty years you know when a product gives good quality images without fudging them as I say. I am one of the old school photographers where the photo you took had to be spot on so maybe twenty photos one would be the right one this was on film and that cost money where as now if I take fifty shots it does not matter . So I have only had the lens for a few hours but in that time got the feel of the weight and operation of the lens, while normally within the first hour I would have taken around thirty photos this exercise was only 20 over the twenty shots my main goal is perfection of all the colours and in focus sharpness must be spot on. I check on what colours I am photographing against the actual subjects while they are still there to see. So the lens operates as I would expect it smooth and precise when I am out and about sometime there is no second chance especially with wild life and focus is the essence. If I am photographing moving object I like to be in control while bust control is there on my Sony camera there is something special about taken how many images and the art of doing it. So onto OSS while it's in my title I was brought up to use a camera to eliminate camera shake and can say this lens on my Sony body without built in stabilising is as it should be perfect. A word on the weight it does help to overcome OSS So overall without OSS which some photographers would like it loses a star

Das Objektiv ist unglaublich scharf bereits bei f2.8 und allen Brennweitenbereichen. Außer bei 55mm erreicht oder übertrifft es die Abbildungsleistung des Sigma f1.4 Festbrennweiten-Trios. Und das soll schon etwas heißen. Mit der Qualität kommt natürlich auch ein Preis - und zwar nicht nur der Kaufpreis, der absolut okay ist, sondern Größe und Gewicht.

J'avais un 18-135 sony que j'ai voulu changer par cette optique, G de haute qualité "selon les tests". La qualité d'image n'est pas au rendez vous, elle est identique à mon 18-135. Mise à part ca, la qualité de construction est superbe, l'optique est belle, l'autofocus est réactif. La qualité d'image n'est pas bonne selon moi.

So far so good, nice sharpness in most conditions, really appreciate the constant f2.8 aperture. The starburst effect at high f stop is fantastic and the bokeh is nice and smooth. The lens is a little bulkier than I'd like given it's a 16-55mm (doesnt fit in my camera case for my previous 16-70mm F4) but all in all very pleased with it.

Für mich die beste APSC Linse die es gibt. Vorausgesetzt man hat eine A6500 oder 6600. Ohne steady shot ist der Preis dann einfach zu hoch. Aber wenn man Ibis hat dann ok. Die Fotos sind um einiges schärfer als mit dem 16-70z. Um unteren Bereich verzeichnet das Objektiv sehr stark aber die automatische Korrektur bekommt das gut geregelt. Das ist bei einem Zoom Objektiv leider oft so. Unterm Strich für mich das perfekte immer drauf Objektiv.
