J'ai donc été très déçu de voir, après l'achat, que cet optique ne bénéficie pas de l'offre. L'affiche publicitaire ne parle pourtant pas de modèle spécifique .... Concernant l'objectif en lui même, il s'agit très certainement d'un bon objectif, la fabrication est superbe. Je manque de recule sur le terrain pour un avis plus détaillé.

Bough as a "travel" ultra wide - equivalent 15-27 ish on APSc mode for my a7c and 7R but surprisingly almost covers 14mm on FF. It's a relatively old lens now and OSS at these angles is not that important but allows really slow handheld.

Comme je passe du plein format reflex à l’hybride @6400 Cet objectif (de départ pour moi) me permet de retrouver ce super grand angle pour des paysages grandioses et des photos de ville enfin élargies. Je disposait déjà d’un 10-20 avec mon réflex mais qui pesait presque 1 kg. Avec ce 10-18 , bien sûr j’ouvre moins mais à f4 quand même et quand je vois comment se passe la montée en iso, je ne suis pas inquiet. Mes premiers clichés sont vraiment très bien. Je teste en conditions d’ici quelques jours en corse, je remettrais un avis plus détaillé avec photos en complément ensuite.

Amazing ultra wide angle lens. Have been using it for more than 6 months and it has been outstanding. There is usually a problem with the edges of the photos especially when I use 10mm, but that could be because of my APS-C camera.

denn die Abbildungsqualität ist hervorragend. Berücksichtigt man den ernormen Ww-Bereich von anfänglich 15mm (bezogen auf Vollformat), so ist auch hier die Abbildungsleistung am Rand noch akzeptabel (wenn möglich etwas abblenden), ebenso die Verzeichnungsfreiheit. Senkrechte Geraden am Rand bleiben auch noch gerade und so ist dieses Teil für mich in zwei Jahren unentbehrlich geworden, hier spürt man, wie wichtig jeder einzelne Ww-Millimeter sein kann. Ideal für Landschaft und Architektur. Auch das Spielen mit Perspektive ist einmalig und es gibt dafür keinen Ersatz, im Gegensatz zur zur fehlenden längeren Brennweite beim "Tele", die nach Bearbeitung am Computer bis zu einem gewissen Grad ersetzt werden kann.

Finding that I was more often than not using my 16-70mm lens at the wide end. Decided to buy this 10 - 18mm. I am not disappointed Image quality is excellent being sharp with no chromatic abrasion. Focus auto/man and stabilization on/off switches would have been nice but I've dedicated spare buttons for convenience. I am not disappointed.

Es gibt keine wirkliche Alternative zu diesem Objektiv, im APS-C bereich, für das was es kann ist es aus meiner Sicht ein wenig zu teuer. Ansonsten bin ich damit doch ziemlich zufrieden. Aber so 100-150 Euro günstiger wäre ein "besserer" Preis dafür. Also, eigentlich eine gute Linse nur ein wenig zu teuer.

Wie so viele vor mir habe ich ein stark dezentriertes Modell erhalten (es lohnt Bewertungen beim großen Onlinehändler durchzulesen). Für ein hochpreisiges Gerät von einem etablierten Markenhersteller ist dieser komplette Mangel an Qualitätskontrolle ein nicht zu akzeptierender Zustand. Schönes handliches Objektiv, tolle Ergänzung zur 6000er-Serie (nach der Garantiereparatur) - aber Sony ist offensichtlich kein vertrauenswürdiger Objektivhersteller.

I've been using a friend's SEL1018 for a while and had to purchase one for myself as this lens is super flexible when trying to shoot wider subjects. 10mm is great for landscapes and tight spaces and architecture but I also end up using 18mm quite a lot for street photography. This lens is actually the one I use the most when travelling.

Das Objektiv besitze ich nun seit 2 Jahren und habe es immer dabei. Im Innenbereich wie bei Landschaften sind die Aufnahmen scharf und überzeugend. Gekauft habe ich es hauptsächlich wegen der "Ellbogenfreiheit" in Innenräumen, Hallen und Kirchen. Inzwischen nutze ich es gleichermaßen für Landschaftaufnahmen. Die Anfangsblend f:4 schränkt mich dabei nicht ein, da ich das Bokeh hierbei als zweitrangig empfinde. Das Objektiv ist sehr leicht und kompakt, und wenn ich nur mit der Kamera (Alpha 6500) gehe, ist es mein "Immer drauf". Zusammengefasst: Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nice and wide and lightweight and th autofocus works well with Sony cameras of course. There’s a very small improvement in quality over much cheaper lenses however including the a6300 kit lens and the Sony 28mm 2.8 pankcake both many hundreds of pounds cheaper. Disappointed.

Wohl aufgrund mangelnder Qualitätskontrolle zeigt mein Exemplar starke Randunschärfen bei großer Blende. Dieser Fehler wurde schon von vielen Käufern bemängelt. Ich werde für mein Objektiv Ersatz anfordern und hoffe, ein einwandfreies Exemplar zu erhalten. Sollte der Ersatz wieder den gleichen Fehler aufweisen, werde ich es endgültig zurückschicken. Schade, dass Sony nicht in der Lage ist, durch eine richtige Endkontrolle, nur einwandfreie Objektive in Umlauf zu bringen. Leider kann ich jetzt nur das Exemplar bewerten welches ich erhalten habe.

Only just got this, but better sharpness than I was expecting even in the corners having read reviews. The 10mm wide angle makes for some stunning shots both for still landscapes, but equally impressive for movies where it gives a human-like perspective. Constant f4, minimal barrel extension and low weight makes it great for gimbal use.

Bis jetzt konnte ich mehrere Bilder aus ungewöhnlichen Perspektiven und mit Weitwinkelcharakter schießen. Bin begeistert. Das Objektiv ist gut verarbeitet, kompakt und leicht. Passt zu meiner A6500. Bildqualität ist gut. An Randen sind die Bilder nicht so toll. Schärfe im Mitte ok. Der Preis ist etwas zu hoch.

Bin Hobby - Fotograf und mit dem SEL 1018 an der ILCE 6500 sehr zufrieden. Qualität der Bilder entspricht in allen Belangen meiner Vorstellung. Einziger Nachteil ist der Preis. Aber dafür ist das Objektiv halt klein, handlich und sehr gut - auch in den Ecken.

Ich bin kein Profi, und ein solches Weitwinkel-Zoom (KB: 15 - 27 mm) hatte ich noch nie. Erstaunlich ist für mich, wie viel „Foto“ auf das Foto passt. Für mich ist schon klar und auch in Ordnung, dass Perspektiven im extremen Bereich etwas verzogen sind - gegen Physik ist man machtlos. Ich freue mich darauf, mit dem Objektiv viele spannende Landschafts- und Architekturaufnahmen zu machen!

Ce zoom grand angle couvre parfaitement les besoins de l'amateur de paysage surtout sur la plage 12-18, en dessous les distorsions normales sont plus difficiles à corriger. Il est léger et peu encombrant en rapport avec les A6xxx.
